WHAT IS MONEY INSURANCE ?

Money Insurance or Cash loss in transit. 

Money Insurance means its cover cash currencies, carried by the insured or their authorized employees while in transit or held in safe of insured premises.

·     Cash loss in transit with insured or insured employee’s due to robbery, theft or any other fortuitous cause.

·     Loss at insured premises due to Robbery / Housebreaking / Burglary / Theft / Hold up etc…

·      Provided always that the limit of the Company's liability for anyone loss shall in no case exceed the amount specified against any respective section in the said Schedule to the Policy.

Cash covered in premises only it’s kept in safe after business hours if cash kept in cash counter and housebreaking occurred then it’s not covered under money policy.

The scope of Coverage’s

·        Insured premises to bank

·        Bank to insured premises

·        Post office to insured premises

·        Insured premises to post office

·        Customer place to insured premises

·        Other cash transaction as per insured requirement subject to the declaration in the proposal form.

Policy Exclusions

• Damage During Transit
• loss with airlines and air cargo, 
• Fidelity (dishonesty by employees/business partners/customers or other traders), 
• Unexplained losses, 
• mysterious disappearance, 
• hypnotism
• Unattended cash
